Our Kiln dried logs are seasoned wood which is cut into 10” pieces and put into large steel containers, these containers are then placed into two large kiln dryers which are powered by wood to start the drying process.
The wood will stay in the dryers until the moisture content has dropped to 20% moisture content. logs which are below 20% moisture content are where the government are looking at suppliers to be selling Kiln dried wood at.
We test our wood with moisture meters regularly to monitor the quality of our wood.
